Enrich in Africa

The Enrich in Africa project is developed under WP2, Task 2.3 Development of Entrepreneurial Support Programmes in partnership with IMPH. The project is run by champions in 5 different countries in Africa (Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Senegal, Sudan & Zambia). The project aims to set-up a network of incubators and accelerators and build capacity for the delivery of quality services for European and African innovators as well as support the exchange of knowledge and co-creation activities between the two continents.

The EiA innovation start-up programme is open to all African innovators. The standard package of support to the selected start-up entrepreneurs draws from the expertise of codified knowledge from IMPH, iHub and SBCA.

Impact Hub Dakar is one of the Champions of this programme. 3 entrepreneurs have been duly selected through the online application process for a 6 month scaling journey until January 2023.

What do Enrich offers to entrepreneurs

The entrepreneurs supported in this program benefit from sectoral support by experts in agro-industry and renewable energies. In addition to this sectoral support, entrepreneurs are supported in structuring their business by coaches or experts.
At the same time, the entrepreneurs of the program benefit from technical grants, in particular, a grant called AgreenTech which is for an amount of 2000 Euro which is intended for companies which are in the idea phase and which need funds to test their product. Another scholarship called AgreenFin which is for participants who have businesses in operation and need funds to increase their production capacity or do communication to improve their sales. This AgreenFin scholarship is worth 10,000 Euro. Finally, there is Agri Invest which is a loan of 30,000 Euro. The latter is a loan that will be repaid by the beneficiary.
